Alek's conflict is that he is now alone with a stormwalker and loyal crew, in the Swiss arctic. There are also Darwinists wanting to interrogate him. He needs to find a way to satisfy their needs, but secure freedom as well. All he has though is a stormwalker, a loyal crew, and an abundance food to trade with.
